Sheet Piling Services in Gujarat: Steel Sheet Pile Driving, Extraction and Shoring

Sheet piling contractor in Gujarat, working from our Gandhavi yard in Devbhoomi Dwarka with our own vibro hammers and equipment.

Who provides sheet piling services in Gujarat?

Tiara Infrastructure Limited provides sheet piling services in Gujarat from its Gandhavi base in Devbhoomi Dwarka. We drive and extract steel sheet piles for deep excavations, cofferdams, trenches and retaining works, using hydraulic vibro hammers carried by cranes or excavators, and we can also supply the concrete and machines the job needs. You can hire us for the whole job or rent the vibro hammer on its own.

What Sheet Piling Does

Sheet piles are interlocking steel sections driven into the ground side by side to form a continuous wall. The wall holds back soil and water so you can excavate and build safely inside it. Because the sections lock together, the wall is far more watertight than loose timber or open shoring, and steel sheet piles can usually be pulled out after the work and used again.

Where Sheet Piling Is Used

  • Deep excavations for basements, pump houses and plant foundations
  • Cofferdams for work in or beside water
  • Pipeline, cable and drainage trenches
  • Retaining walls and embankment support
  • Jetty, quay and waterfront works
  • Canal, culvert and bridge foundation works
  • Temporary shoring next to roads, buildings and existing plant

Steel and Vinyl Sheet Piles

Steel sheet piles are the standard choice for deep excavations, heavy loads and tough driving. They are strong, interlock tightly and can be extracted and reused.

Vinyl sheet piles suit lighter duty work such as shallow retaining walls and waterfront edges where corrosion resistance matters and loads are low.

We recommend the type from the ground, the water level, the depth and the load.

How We Drive and Extract Sheet Piles

We use hydraulic vibro hammers to drive sheet piles into the ground and to pull them out when the work is finished. The hammer is clamped to the top of the pile and carried by a crane or an excavator. Vibration reduces the ground's grip on the pile, so it sinks under its own weight and the hammer's.

The right method depends on the soil and the surroundings. Dense layers or boulders may need pre-drilling. Sites close to existing buildings or sensitive equipment need a driving method that controls vibration. We plan this before we mobilise.

What We Check Before Choosing Sheet Piles

  • Soil type and layers, from the soil investigation report
  • Groundwater level and whether the wall must be watertight
  • Excavation depth and the loads on the wall
  • Whether the wall is temporary or permanent
  • Nearby structures, utilities and vibration limits
  • Access for cranes, excavators and pile delivery
  • Corrosion risk, especially on coastal sites near salt water

Deep Excavations Need Support

A sheet pile wall in a deep excavation usually needs support so it does not bend inward. Depending on the site, that support is internal bracing, or ground anchors drilled back into stable ground so the pit stays clear for work. We can plan and carry out both the wall and its support as one job.

Machines and Concrete from the Same Yard

Our Gandhavi yard holds our equipment fleet and RMC plant, so the machines and concrete for your sheet piling job come from one company:

  • Hydraulic vibro hammer on rent with or without our crew
  • Excavators and mobile tower cranes to carry the hammer and handle piles
  • Ready mix concrete for the foundations built inside the sheet pile wall

What to Send for a Quote

Send the site location, a plan or sketch showing the length of wall, the excavation depth, the soil investigation report if you have one, the groundwater level if known, whether the piles are temporary or permanent, your start date, and details of nearby structures. If you are unsure, tell us what you are building and we will tell you what to collect.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is sheet piling?

Sheet piling is a method of driving interlocking steel or vinyl sections into the ground to form a continuous wall. The wall holds back soil and water so work can be done safely in an excavation or beside water.

Where is sheet piling used?

Sheet piling is used for deep excavations, cofferdams, trenches, retaining walls, jetties and waterfront works, and for temporary shoring next to roads and buildings. It is most useful where the ground is soft or the water table is high.

Do you offer shoring services in Gujarat?

Yes. Sheet pile walls are one of the main forms of shoring we provide, supported where needed by bracing or ground anchors. Share your excavation depth and site conditions and we will recommend the system.

Can sheet piles be reused?

Steel sheet piles can usually be extracted with a vibro hammer after the work and reused, if they are in good condition. This is one reason sheet piling is economical for temporary works.

What is the difference between sheet piling and bored piling?

Sheet piling forms a wall that holds back soil and water around an excavation. Bored piling casts concrete piles in drilled holes to carry the load of a structure into stronger soil. One supports the ground, the other supports the building.

How is sheet piling priced?

Pricing depends on the sheet pile type and length, the length of wall, the soil, the method, access and whether the piles are supplied, hired or bought. It is quoted as a rate per tonne, per metre of wall, or as a driving and extraction charge. Send your details for a written quotation.

Can I rent a vibro hammer without hiring your crew?

Yes. We rent hydraulic vibro hammers on their own, and we can also provide the operator and carrying machine, or carry out the full sheet piling job. Tell us which you need.

How do I get a sheet piling quotation in Gujarat?
